New Patient
At Hands-On Health Care and Chiropractic, we now offer the new patient paperwork online so you can complete it in the convenience of your own home or office. Please complete all forms to the best of your ability. Once you complete the online paperwork, it will be sent directly to our office and imported into your new patient account.
First Visit
Upon your arrival, if you were unable to complete the paperwork online, then our front desk staff will provide you with the necessary forms to be completed. The paperwork provides us with detailed information about you and your condition(s).
Examination
In order to determine what your actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.
X-ray Studies
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.
Consultation
After Examination and X-rays have been completed, you will then have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. At this time, the doctor will determine if the patient is able to have spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies during the initial visit.
Home Instructions
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain exercises and/or activities to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
Schedule Your Next Appointment
You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. During this visit, the doctor will discuss the treatment options that he has complied for you.
